Then go straight, through the village, until you come to the crossroad. Carry on straight, through the traffic lights. To “long hill”. Stay on this road all the way to Buxton.
If you get yourself to Disley
You continue to follow signs for Buxton. (Whaley Bridge).
You will go through Furness Vale then under this railway bridge before :-
You go right at this roundabout. Sign posted to Whaley Bridge Railway Station.
When you have dropped into Buxton, you will turn right at this first roundabout.
Go straight, through the next lights, and up the hill.
Continue straight along this road and go,
straight though these first set of lights.
Then stay on this road, until this left filter lane, signposted to Bakewell.
At the end turn right. Signposted, Ashford in the Water.
Stay on this road, down the dual carriageway, and through the Forest.
Take this left turn, signposted to Ashford in the Water.
You will pass a right turn to Goyt Reservoir. At the top of the hill.
Go straight, passing this left turn into the village.
